WHAT IS THE LENGTH OF THE TANTRA YOGA TEACHER TRAINING PROGRAMS (Yoga Alliance® USA)?
They are different depending on the amount of hours:
- 200 hour YTTC Teacher Training: 3 weeks
- 300 hour YTTC Teacher Training: 6 (minimum) to 8 weeks
- 500 hour YTTC Teacher Training: 10 (minimum) to 12 weeks
WHAT'S THE DAILY SCHEDULE?
7:00 AM - 8:00 AM: Light Breakfast
8:00 AM - 9:00 AM: Āyurveda Walking Massage
9:00 AM- 11:00 AM: Morning Practice: Āsana, Prāṇāyāma and/or Bandhas, Dand Flow, Upasanas
12:00 PM- 3:00 PM: Lunch and Relaxation
3:00 PM - 6:00 PM: Main Āsana series
6:30PM - 8:00 PM: Dinner and Relaxation
8:00PM - 10:00 PM: Lecture, Satsang, Goddess consecration/Puja, Sanskrit chanting/study

WILL SHRI MA KRISTINA TEACHING?
Shri Ma Kristina is the master teacher on Sanskrit and mantra chanting. Currently, she is on extended leave.
IF I COME FOR THE 300HR, 500HR, OR TANTRA STUDIES (6-12 MONTHS) DO I HAVE SOME FREE DAYS BESIDES THE WEEKLY FREE DAY?
Yes. At the end of the month we have a week’s break that you can use for traveling, relaxing, studying or exploring the surroundings. There will usually still be one class per day during that time.
DO WE CONDUCT AUTHENTIC Gurudīkṣā kuṇḍalinī RAISING AND SHARE KNOWLEDGE OF CHAKRAS?
Yes, we do for the long-term students of Tantra. We assess on a case-by-case basis in accordance with our Guru paramparā lineage. When the Guru deems that the student is ready for this practice, we bestow the knowledge.
CAN I DO THE TANTRIC INITIATION WITHOUT THE YOGA?
No, the Kaula Yoga system requires that you perform Tantra Yoga Āsana effectively. Without the mastery of your Bandhas you will not be able to control your Prāṇā.
Do I need a visa for India?
Yes, you need a visa to enter India. Please refer to the List of Countries for who can get an e-visa. If your country is listed, select the box titles “For eVisa by Bureau of Immigration, Apply Here.” All other countries need to select “For Regular/Paper Visa by Indian Mission/Post, Apply Here.”

**Choose TOURIST visa.** Very important you do NOT choose yoga or short-term yoga program. These are specific programs that we are not registered with.

When taking a photo of yourself and your passport, clearly follow instructions. The photo of yourself should be taken against a plain background. The passport page is glossy, so be sure all information can be read clearly without glare.
WHAT'S THE PAYMENT POLICY?
To reserve a space and attend the course, and also participate in the non-profit accommodation and meal program, full payment is due at the time of registration and can be made via Electronic Bank Transfer through your bank, or the popular App Transferwise. Alternately, you can pay in cash on arrival.
If you would like to pay by Electronic Bank Transfer or cash on arrival, please inform us when you fill out the Pre-Arrival Enrollment Form and we will be in contact you with more details.
Cancellation:
We are unable to issue any refunds.
No credit or refund is available if you cancel, if you do not show up, or if you leave early for any reason. If your circumstances change and we have to recalculate your payment plan, you will also incur a $100 processing fee.
Shri Kali reserves the right to refuse admittance and ongoing participation in any program to any student for any reason at any time.
If you are unsure of what course you would like to attend or if you will be able to attend at all, we recommend you pay on arrival.
WHERE DO THE CLASSES TAKE PLACE?
All courses take place at our current location in Goa, India. The yoga classes and lectures will be held in the indoor or outdoor yoga shalas. It is the perfect place to practice yoga and meditation as you are surrounded by nature.
WHEN DO THE COURSES START?
For the 200hr you need to arrive by the first of each month. But for 300hr and 500hr you can arrive any day of the month (subject to booking).
WHEN DO THE RETREATS START?
Our retreats run every month throughout the 1st to the 21st of the month. You can join for a 7 or 14 days retreat within that time frame.
We recommend you to come on the first two weeks of the month, when there is no Teacher Training Practicum.
IF I ALREADY HAVE A 200HR YOGA ALLIANCE TEACHER TRAINING CERTIFICATION CAN I COME FOR THE 300HR AND RECEIVE THE 500HR YOGA ALLIANCE TEACHER TRAINING CERTIFICATION?
Yes. That's very common.
CAN I GET A 500HR YOGA ALLIANCE® USA TANTRA TEACHER TRAINING CERTIFICATION AS PART OF THE TANTRA INITIATION OF 6 OR 12 MONTHS?
Yes. The certification is automatic and we don't charge anything extra for that.
HOW IS THE ACCOMMODATION?
We offer two differing sets of ashram lodging. We have spacious rooms in our building and organic thatched cottages. All rooms include a fan, bed linens, attached bathroom, and have a porch or balcony.
We are set in peacefully nature for you to relax.
Single rooms are given whenever they are available, and rooms are shared between two students when we are full.
